Sterling Solar Energy

The Stirling engine was developed by Reverend Robert Stirling in Edinburgh in 1816 as an alternative to the steam engine. It uses alternate heating and cooling of an enclosed helium gas to drive pistons in the engine, which turn a flywheel.

That motion then drives an alternator to produce electricity. Because of the material limitations at the time, the advanced Stirling engine was not commercially developed until 1988, when Swedish defense contractor Kokums started making them for submarines.

Stirling engines have long been thought of as a promising technology to build solar farms. The technology works by using the parabolic dish mirror as giant lenses that focus the sun’s energy to a tiny hot point, which in turn drives a zero-emission Stirling engine.

Both the home energy system above and the sterling solar plant are instruction books which can be downloaded onto your home computer, they both require you to purchase the materials to build the electric generating systems for your home.

Some of these parts can be purchased at a discount from websites like But unless you are technically minded, you may need to have their blueprint to complete the work safely.

Nano Towels

The NanoTowels® can help replace cleaning chemicals in the home.

In most cases, you need to use two NanoTowels–one wet and one dry. For example, if you are cleaning glass and want to avoid using glass cleaner, just scrub the dirty glass with a damp NanoTowel, and then go over it with a dry NanoTowel for no streaks and crystal clear glass. The same goes for stainless steel, wood and just about everything else.

They are particularly good for dusting. Use them for dusting, washing counter-tops, floors, bathrooms, glass, stainless steel, spills Also, they are great for washing a car because they are so soft, they will not scratch the clear-coat, and they absorb a huge amount of water.
